Founded in 2019 by Alper Hulusi and Louisa Harvey.

Our Mission

We are a not-for-profit company based in Cambridge UK. We are dedicated to uncovering medical device needs in low- and middle- income countries, with a focus on improving the health outcomes of women and children.

We will develop impactful devices to be cost-effective, sustainable, accessible and usable in low resource settings.

Please note that ROOTS Medtech Ltd has converted to a community interest company, and has been renamed “ROOTS Medtech C.I.C.”.  This ensures ROOTS Medtech is a not-for-profit company for community rather than private benefit, with an independent regulator.
