Partnered with AFPNC…

In May 2020, I contacted Selina Bentoom from the African Foundation for Premature Babies and Neonatal Care in Ghana. Selina devotes her life to improving health outcomes for babies in low resource settings, and I could not be more proud to be partnered with her charity.

“Over five years now, the African Foundation for Premature Babies and Neonatal Care(AFPNC)  has joined forces with relevant stakeholders across the globe to improve and increase access to quality health care to more than 100,000 newborns especially small, sick or premature babies in Africa. The AFPNC is excited that  ROOTS Medtech shares in our vision and our partnership will ensure we achieve a common goal for every newborn in Africa. Nurturing a newborn especially small or premature babies requires measurement and assessment of  each milestone including monitoring weight regularly . This help parents to celebrate achievement of their babies or assess the quality of care that is being provided  for a baby. This  is why ROOTS Meditech initiative to produce affordable yet quality weighing scale that will be accessible to health centers and homes in low resource settings can be a another breakthrough in neonatal care.” Selina Bentoom, Founder AFPNC.
